Alejandro Garnacho appears to ignore young Man Utd fan begging for autograph | Football

Alejandro Garnacho has appeared to snub a young Manchester United supporter pleading for his autograph in a new viral social media clip.
The video was filmed outside Old Trafford on Sunday after United crashed out of the FA Cup to Fulham, with Ruben Amorim’s side losing on penalties.
Garnacho was named on the bench for the fifth-round clash – coming on in the 52nd minute – but he did not take a spot kick in the decisive shootout.
After the defeat, a young fan approached Garnacho, who was driving his white 4×4 Range Rover out of the car park at a slow speed.
The youngster is seen holding a pen and notepad. At one point, he walks straight up to the Argentine’s car window and says: ‘Garnacho, please.’

Fan-favourite Garnacho, though, seemingly ignored the young supporter with the 20-year-old winger’s eyes fixed on his mobile phone instead.
It should be noted that Garnacho may have not spotted the young fan – with the United star appearing to be in discussion with another individual in his car during the awkward incident.

It is also possible that Garnacho did actually stop, with a separate video appearing to show the United player putting his car window back up.
Garnacho is known to regularly give up his time to fans for United fans on matchdays and at the club’s Carrington training ground. He may have posed for pictures and given autographs before the car park incident.
After the clip went viral on social media, a number of United fans leaped to his defence, pointing out he usually interreacts with other supporters.

‘Garnacho is amazing with his fans, I don’t believe this, and even if true he’s the type of person to find this fan and give them a ticket,’ one supporter said.
A second United fan posted: ‘Was out in Altrincham on a Sunday morning before Christmas and saw Garnacho stop for lots of photos with fans and sign lots of autographs.
‘He was out with his partner and child but was very patient and courteous with everyone.’
United head coach Amorim recently revealed that Garnacho was set to take his teammates out for dinner, to say sorry for going straight down the tunnel after being substituted in the club’s last Premier League match.
Garnacho faced criticism for his alleged frustration at being hauled off in the 3-2 victory over Ipswich Town but it later emerged that he simply wanted to change his shirt amid wet and cold conditions.
