Sleek and futuristic, the TELO MT1 aims to define a new category of electric pickup trucks that meets a significant market need for sustainability, size as well as functionality across consumer / fleet audiences.
There will be two models available at launch: a 2-wheel-drive, single-motor 300 hp with a 260 mile range, and then a 500 hp dual-motor, 4-wheel-drive beast that is good for up to 350 miles. Its interior surfaces are crafted from biodegradable cork, a renewable, yet lightweight material, that offers a luxurious feel while reducing environmental impact. The truck’s innovative seat arrangement ensures rear passengers have the same legroom as a full-sized, five-seat crew cab pickup truck. Don’t let its size fool you though, as its “Monster Tunnel” feature is essentially an innovative storage system hidden beneath the bed to allow for additional cargo space. Prices are expected to begin at just over $41,000 USD.
