The Google Pixel 9a is expected to be officially unveiled on March 19, which means there are plenty of dummy units, and possibly even functional prototypes, floating around. One thing you’ll immediately notice is that this model drops the camera bar in favor of a pill-shaped bump, along with an iPhone-like flat frame.
It should come equipped with a 6.3″ 120Hz Super Actua OLED screen with a peak brightness of 2,700 nits, a Google Tensor G4, 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, a dual rear camera (48MP Main + 13MP Ultra-Wide), a 13MP selfie camera, and a high-capacity 5,100mAh battery. The handset is rumored to start at $499 USD, which puts it on par with the previous model.
