Cheltenham Festival 2025 TV channel and schedule: How to watch every race live

The biggest week in the horse racing calendar is here with the 2025 Cheltenham Festival underway today.

We are set for 28 races across four days with a quarter of a million fans set to pile through the gates this week.

But for those watching on from the home or the office, almost every race will be available to watch live on TV and to stream in the coming days.

Here’s how you can follow all the action on day one and beyond.

What TV channel is Cheltenham Festival 2025 on? Full schedule

ITV1 will have coverage across all four days with their broadcast underway from 12:45pm every day from Tuesday to Friday. First races of the day will begin at 1:20pm.

While there will be comprehensive coverage on the free-to-air channel, ITV will only cover five of the seven races taking place each day, with the final two not part of their broadcast.

For the final two races, fans can instead switch to dedicated racing channel Racing TV, available on Sky channel 424, Virgin and Media channel 536.

ITV’s horse racing coverage will be available to steam daily through ITV X.

Who is presenting the TV coverage of Cheltenham Festival 2025?

Ed Chamberlin will once again front ITV’s coverage of Cheltenham Festival.

The 51-year-old spent over a decade on Sky Sports, hosting coverage of Super Sunday and Monday Night Football before taking up his role with ITV in 2017.

Who are the TV pundits and commentators for Cheltenham Festival 2025?

Francesca Cumani, daughter of former trainer Luca Cumani, and former flat racing jockey Megan Nicholls will also be part of the team alongside the legendary AP McCoy.

Ruby Walsh, widely regarded as one of the greatest jockeys of all-time, will also make up panel of experts which also includes Jason Weaver.

Matt Chapman as ever will be on the scene as ITV’s betting reporter, giving punters the latest tips and updates during the race coverage.

Richard Hoiles will be ITV Racing’s lead commentator.
