Cheltenham Festival 2025: Day 3 race card, betting tips and latest odds

The Stayers’ Hurdle and the Ryanair Chase take centre stage on the third day of action at Cheltenham Festival 2025.

There were more thrills and spills on Wednesday at Prestbury Park with another stacked day of action for punters to look forward to today on St Patrick’s Thursday.

The Ryanair Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle gets the day underway at 1:20pm with six races to follow across the afternoon.

2023 winner Teahupoo is out to defend his crown in the Stayers’ with Protektorat, co-owned by Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson, looking to repeat last year’s marvellous triumph in the Ryanair Chase.

Speaking to Paddy Power, racing legend Ruby Walsh has named his biggest tips for the second day of action.

Jungle Boogie: 12/1 (Ryanair Chase)

I think it’s the hardest day, most handicaps, I think Jungle Boogie each-way in the Ryanair.

Teahupoo 1/1 (Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle)

I can’t find the one to beat Teahupoo and the race in Fairyhouse was a no-race this year so as such he definitely hasn’t had a taxing season. But I just can’t find a horse to beat him so I think therefore he’ll win.
