What are Arsenal and Aston Villa’s roads to the Champions League final? | Football

Arsenal and Aston Villa are the last two English clubs standing in the Champions League after booking their quarter-final slots.
The Gunners romped to a 9-3 aggregate win over PSV, while the Villains also eased into the last eight as they beat Club Brugge 6-1 over two legs.
As you would expect it is a high profile line-up left in Europe’s top competition, with representatives from five countries still alive.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain both needed penalty shootouts to keep their Champions League dreams alive, edging out Atletico Madrid and Liverpool respectively.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan did not have too much trouble with their last 16 ties as Barca downed Benfica, Bayern ousted Leverkusen and Inter knocked out Feyenoord.

It was a little stickier for Borussia Dortmund, but they squeezed past Lille 3-2 over two legs.
Now we are officially in the business end of the competition, how can the Premier League clubs make it all the way to the final?

Who could Arsenal play on the way to the Champions League 2025 final?
Next up for the Gunners after walloping PSV will be Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
If they can beat the defending champions then their semi-final will be against either Aston Villa or PSG.
If Mikel Arteta’s men are still going then the final would be against Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund or Barcelona.

Who could Aston Villa play on the way to the Champions League 2025 final?
Aston Villa’s return to the top tier of European football is going extremely well but it doesn’t get any easier as they face PSG next.
Win that and it will be Arsenal or Real Madrid in the semis.
Just like the Gunners it would be Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Borussia Dortmund or Barcelona waiting for them in the final if they make it that far.
