2026 Lexus RZ 550e F-Sport Boasts Dual Electric Motors Making 408HP and 8-Speed Virtual Gears

It’s no Lexus LFA, but the 2026 Lexus RZ 550e F-Sport is the automaker’s sportiest EV yet. Power comes from dual electric motors that make 408 horsepower (300 kW) paired with a DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive (AWD) system as well as a 77 kWh lithim-ion battery pack.
What really sets it apart from its predecessors is an innovative 8-speed virtual gear transmission that drivers control using paddle shifters on the steering wheel, while a shift guide meter provides visual feedback on when to upshift and downshift. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced for the US, but it’s set to launch later this year in Europe.
