Silent Hill f Gets New Reveal Trailer, Teases Creepy Dream-Like World and Creatures

Set for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows (via Steam), Silent Hill f takes place in 1960s rural Japan, more specifically Ebisugaoka, inspired by Kanayama, Gero in Japan’s Gifu Prefecture. This marks a significant departure from the series’ familiar setting of the fictional American town of Silent Hill.

As far as gameplay, it looks to follow the survival horror genre conventions of the series, including exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat against surreal monsters. Featuring a new take on the Otherworld, with environments featuring overgrown flowers and animal-like tendrils instead of the traditional rust and barbed wire. There’s no word yet on a definitive release date, but the Steam page for the PC version is live as of now.
