Lionel Messi’s Navy SEAL bodyguard vows to fight Logan Paul to settle lawsuit

Lionel Messi’s bodyguard has offered to step in and fight Logan Paul after the WWE star called out the football legend.
In 2024, Messi launched his own hydration drink Mas+, aimed at rivalling PRIME which was launched to staggering success by Paul and business partner KSI two years earlier.
People noted a striking resemblance between the packaging on the two brands with Mas+ the first to take legal action, accusing PRIME of forcing them to change their brand.
PRIME responded by claiming breaches of their trademarked design.
Last month, Paul, who recently played in the Sidemen FC match that sold out Wembley Stadium, called out the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, insisting they settle their legal dispute in the ring.
“Brother, you copied us,’ Paul said.
‘Everyone saw it. They saw what you did. Everyone notices it and then we got sued. Hold on, wait, what? This ain’t justice.

‘So we countersued, obviously. If you can’t beat the best, you gotta be the best. But that’s illegal. That’s trademark infringement.
‘We’re holding him accountable, and it’s harassment? All jokes aside, I will consider dropping this if Logan Paul vs Messi [gets made in] 2025. I’ll see you in the ring, brother.’
Standing at 6ft 1.5in compared to Messi’s 5ft 7in, a fight between the YouTuber-turned-scrapper and one of football’s greatest of all-time seems a bit of a non-starter.
But Messi’s hulking right-hand man Yassine Cheuko has kindly offered to step in.
The 34-year-old is a Muay Thai fighter and has gone viral for protecting Messi from fans desperate to get close to the Argentina international during Inter Miami matches in the US, having previously been by his side during his time at Paris Saint-Germain.

Cheuko, rumoured to be an ex-Navy SEAL, was recently quizzed on Paul’s challenge and insisted he will gladly take him up on his offer.
‘Messi doesn’t even know who this guy is,’ said Cheuko after pausing one of his intense workouts in the gym.
‘”If Logan really wants a fight, he can fight me, not a football player.’

Paul, 29, has over 23 million YouTube subscribers and in 2018, turned his hand to boxing, beating KSI under professional rules in front of a sold out Staples Centre in Los Angeles in 2019.
He returned to the ring in 2021, sharing eight rounds with ring legend Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition match.
Last year, his bout with Dillion Danis in Manchester ended in chaos with the MMA fighter disqualified for attempting to take his opponent down with a guillotine move, prompting a comical mass brawl.
Paul signed for WWE in 2022 and is a former United States champion.
