Official LEGO Pokemon Sets Release 2026
It’s official, the LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International announced a new multi-year partnership that will bring characters like Pikachu, Charizard, and more, to life, in 2026. No other details have been released, but the company did say that these new sets will allow fans to “build beloved Pokémon in LEGO brick form,” possibly even their evolutions.

Why not earlier? Well, The Pokemon Company had an existing deal with Mattel’s Mega Construx since 2017 that saw many Pokémon-themed construction sets released. This most likely prevented any earlier collaboration with LEGO due to conflicts in the toy market. The move to LEGO might indicate that the previous partnership with Mega Construx has either expired or been renegotiated, making the way for this game-changing partnership, literally.
