Firefly Blue Ghost Lander Moon Lunar Sunset
Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost lander captured a stunning lunar sunset in 4K on March 16. These images were captured by different cameras on the lander at various angles and then stitched together afterwards into the footage you’re about to see.

We can observe a horizon glow that comes to life just above the Moon’s surface as the sun goes down, while Earth and Venus (further in the distance) also make an appearance. In related news, Firefly announced that Blue Ghost Mission 1 achieved 100% of their mission objectives. This comes after performing the first fully successful commercial Moon landing on March 2, completing over 14 days of surface operations (346 hours of daylight), and operating just over 5 hours into the lunar night.
