2026 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is World’s Fastest, Most Powerful Front-Engine Convertible with 824HP

Sleek and stylish, the 2026 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is claimed to be the world’s fastest, most powerful front-engine convertible yet. It’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine making 824 horsepower and 787 lb-ft of torque, helping the supercar achieve a top speed of 214 mph as well as a 0-62 mph sprint in just 3.4 seconds

Unlike the coupe, the Vanquish Volante’s suspension tuning needs to account for the altered weight distribution and open-top dynamics. While both vehicles are equipped with Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, the latter’s setup has been customized to be softer in certain modes to maintain grand touring comfort while still offering sharp handling. The cabin blends analog charm (real buttons, knurled knobs) with modern tech (twin 10.3-inch displays, a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system), a nod to Aston’s heritage while keeping pace with competitors. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced, but deliveries are set to commence in Q3 2025.

This supercar fits perfectly into Aston Martin’s broader strategy under Lawrence Stroll’s leadership, and is part of a revitalized lineup that includes the DB12, the new Vantage, as well as the Valkyrie hypercar. It essentially signals a shift toward bolder, more performance-focused offerings by doubling down on visceral driving thrills—think of it as Aston Martin flexing its muscles against rivals like the Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider, which it outpaces in top speed (214 mph vs. 211 mph).
