Nottingham Forest issue Chris Wood injury update ahead of Brighton and Man Utd games | Football

Chris Wood will miss Nottingham Forest’s FA Cup quarter-final tie against Brighton on Saturday due to a hip injury.
The 33-year-old was forced off in the second half of New Zealand’s 3-0 win against New Caledonia after landing awkwardly.
Wood has been in superb form for Forest this season, scoring 18 goals in the Premier League so far.
But Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will be without their leading striker for their FA Cup quarter final this weekend.

‘He went for a scan today,’ Nuno said of Wood’s injury on Thursday.
‘We are still waiting. He has been to a specialist for a scan. We will wait on the information and see.
‘He will not be available for this game. He felt a kick really hard on his hip so there is pain there. We have to wait.’
