Abxylute One Pro Wants to Take Handheld Gaming to the Next Level on a Budget

Unlike its predecessor, the Abxylute One Pro aims to be more of an all-in-one handheld, balancing streaming, local Android gaming, and emulation with a more powerful processor as well as some hardware tweaks, all without breaking the bank.

It’s powered by a MediaTek Genio 510 chip, featuring 2 ARM Cortex-A78 cores and 4 Cortex-A55 cores, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. This is a step up from the original’s MediaTek MT8365, giving it enough grunt to handle PS2 and GameCube emulation at decent frame rates (think 60 FPS for titles like God of War on PPSSPP or Paper Mario on Dolphin). It’s still got 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable via microSD up to 2TB), which keeps it budget-friendly but might bottleneck multitasking or heavier games. It runs Android 13, so you’ve got Play Store access for native games too.

Like its predecessor, it sports a 7-inch, 1920×1080 IPS LCD with a 60 Hz refresh rate—great for a big, clear screen in a portable form factor. It weighs 430 grams and measures 250 x 115 x 30mm, making it lighter than some competitors like the Logitech G Cloud. The design’s gone semi-transparent this time, showing off its internals, which is a cool aesthetic nod to retro tech vibes. You can pre-order one now for $209 USD, with shipments beginning in May 2025.

The joysticks are a big talking point—full-sized, capacitive digital sticks tuned to feel like an Xbox controller, promising precision without drift (a jab at Hall Effect sensors’ electromagnetic interference, apparently). It also supports 4K video output, a feature the original lacked, making it viable for TV gaming or AR glasses. The speakers are improved for better audio, and there’s a revamped launcher for easier game library navigation.
