The world’s first and only GFG Style Peralta S supercar was unveiled on March 22 at the Pastejé Automotive Invitational in Mexico. This one-off vehicle draws heavy inspiration from the iconic 1972 Maserati Boomerang, a futuristic wedge-shaped concept car designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro.

Its design screams 1970s flair with a modern twist, including sharp angles, a low-slung silhouette, and a seamless, monolithic look. The body is handcrafted from polished aluminum, which gives the vehicle a mirror-like finish, while carbon fiber elements like the front spoiler, rear diffuser, and side skirts, add some stealthiness. What really stands out is its “dome” canopy—a single-piece glass roof and door system that lifts forward—paired with gullwing-style side windows.

Underneath, it’s built on the chassis and mechanics of the Maserati MC20, a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive platform with a twin-turbo V6 producing 621 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. While exact performance tweaks for the Peralta S aren’t specified, its MC20 roots suggest a 0-60 mph time around 2.9 seconds in its stock form, though the added weight of the custom body might adjust that slightly.

The interior is equally bespoke, with 1970s-inspired materials like metallic-effect leather covering the seats, dashboard, and panels, blending nostalgia with a high-tech cockpit. Fabrizio Giugiaro, who led the design, called it a tribute to his father’s Boomerang, saying it has “an attitude typically of the 1970s” and stands apart from today’s cars.
