Review: Michael Iskander and Gabby Barrett join forces on ‘Lead Me To The Water’ for ‘House of David’ soundtrack

Actor Michael Iskander and country artist Gabby Barrett joined forces on “Lead Me To The Water” for “House of David” soundtrack.

The song “Lead Me To The Water” was written and produced by Swedish singer-songwriter, artist, and producer Jonas Myrin.

Gabby Barrett allows her crystalline vocals to shine, which blends well with Iskander’s rich, harking voice. They are able to produce one true vocal event that will certainly empower listeners, and move them on an emotional level.

Grammy-nominated artist Jonas Myrin expressed, “I had the honor of composing and producing ‘Lead Me To The Water’ for ‘House of David,’ with the amazing Michael Iskander, who plays the title role of David, and Gabby Barrett.”

“This song is a prayer born out of surrender and trust and its featured in this week’s episode 7,” Myrin acknowledged.

Both artists do the inspirational music of Jonas Myrin justice, and they are sensational on the co-lead vocals. This duet is a match made in musical heaven.

Hopefully, this is a harbinger of more collaborations to come with Myrin in the future, especially since he has proved over and over again that he is one of the most underrated songwriters and producers in the contemporary music landscape.
