Shaquille O’Neal calls for NBA star ‘to be arrested’ for ‘robbing people’

Shaquille O’Neal has branded the NBA as ‘s***’ in a scathing rant and says Ben Simmons ‘needs to be arrested’ for ‘robbing people’.
Speaking on The Big Podcast with Shaq, O’Neal hit out at the current state of the NBA and targeted Los Angeles Clippers forward Simmons, who signed a five-year, $177 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2019.
In 47 games this season with the Brooklyn Nets and the Clippers, Simmons is averaging 5.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.9 assists.
‘People say Charles [Barkley] and I, we ruin the game talking about the product. Because the product is s***,’ O’Neal said.
‘Show me greatness. Like, y’all pay a lot of money for these shoes, I want to see motherf***ers be great. And I’m always going to stay on them and motivate them to be great.
‘They can call it ‘hate’ all they want, but I ain’t sucking these motherf***ers off just because they making $400 million. A lot of these motherf***ers can’t play – and they know it in any f***ing era. They can’t f***ing play, just saying.

‘Pick and roll, one on one, motherf***er can’t play. [Nikola Jokic] can play. Giannis [Antetokounmpo] can play. Dame [Lillard], a couple of these guys can play.
‘But a lot of these motherf***ers can’t play. Ben f***ing Simmons, that motherf***er needs to be arrested.’
O’Neal was then asked for his verdict on Celtics star Jayson Tatum.
‘Jayson Tatum can play. He’s alright. I’m not going to bash him,’ O’Neal said.
‘But Ben Simmons need to be f***ing arrested. $250million for that bulls*** Get the f*** out of my face. Robbing people, man. You can’t do that.’
Speaking about the heavy criticism he has received, Simmons said last month: ‘That’s them making s*** up.
‘Like, imagine if I just said like, name whoever, and said whatever. It doesn’t hold any weight, you know? Like, where does it come from? It’s just their thought, it’s their opinion, and everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but I’ve been doing this my whole life since I was four years old.
‘So nothing is going to change that. Yeah, nothing’s just going to change that out of nowhere.’
