Country artists Alex Miller and Tracy Byrd join forces in the new duet single “The Byrd.”
A neo-traditionalist, Miller collaborates with ’90s country star Tracy Byrd in “The Byrd.” It is upbeat, toe-stomping, and a great deal of fun. It has so much positive energy and the feel-good vibe that we all didn’t know we needed.
It is the quintessential tune to sing along or dance to. “The Byrd” was written by Alex Miller as well as his friend, producer and songwriter Jerry Salley. It was released via Billy Jam Records.
In “The Byrd,” Miller pays tribute to Tracy Byrd and his respected career in the country music industry as he name-checks Byrd’s biggest hits throughout the song.
These iconic song titles that are plugged in the song include “I’m From the Country,” “Drinkin’ Bone,” and “Watermelon Crawl.”
Hopefully, this will help spark a resurgence of neo-traditional country music on the contemporary radio airwaves.
It is evident that Alex Miller has an old country soul. One thing is for certain… the ’90s are back thanks to Tracy Byrd and Miller. Woohoo!
