Fujifim’s New Instax Mini 41 Instant Camera Adds Close-up Mode with Parallax Correction

One really cool thing about the Mini 41 is how good it is at taking close-up pictures. That parallax feature we mentioned isn’t just a small change—it works with a little selfie mirror built into the camera and a special close-up lens accessory you can snap on, letting you take photos as close as 30cm (about a foot). That’s great for snapping detailed stuff like food, flowers, or quick selfies, and it shows the company is paying attention to people who want more options without making the analog experience feel tricky.

The camera also keeps everything super easy with a one-button system. You don’t have to mess with lots of controls—just switch it on, line up your picture, and hit the shutter. The automatic exposure and flash figure out the rest, adjusting the light right away so your indoor shots don’t look too bright or your outdoor ones too dim. Fujifilm says it’ll be available for purchase by the end of April 2025, though no official price has been confirmed yet. For comparison, the Mini 40 retailed around $99, so it might land in a similar ballpark.
