Jeep Convoy Concept Turns Gladiator Mojave Into Military-Inspired Truck

Jeep Convoy Concept Gladiator Mojave
Sleek and rugged, the Jeep Convoy Concept is basically a military-inspired concept vehicle that the automaker unveiled for the 2025 Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. It’s built atop the 2025 Jeep Gladiator Mojave platform, and a tribute to the original 1963 Gladiator SJ—the first post-war Jeep truck designed for civilian use.

On the exterior, the front end, including the hood and fascia, was redesigned to mimic the iconic 1963 SJ Gladiator’s look. The entire front clip is crafted in carbon fiber for a lightweight, durable finish. The custom seven-slot grille features embedded amber LED forward lighting, complete with a special-edition matte Ghost Ops color, giving it a stealthy, military-grade appearance.

Step inside, and you’ll find low-back seats upholstered in distressed brown leather, evoking a rugged, club-chair style. The floor, lower dash, and cargo bed are coated in Mil Spec O.D. Green. This color supposedly offers high contrast for gauges and calms pilots in high-stress situations.

As for other upgrades, the Convoy Concept rolls on 17-inch Warn wheels wrapped in massive 40-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM3 tires. Power comes from a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine rated at 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep hasn’t revealed how much it cost them to build the Convoy Concept, but given the custom carbon-fiber front clip, Warn winch, and premium tires, it’s likely very pricey. The base Gladiator Mojave starts at $53,390, so this would be significantly more if it headed to production.

Jeep trucks eventually evolved into the J-Series, produced through 1987, which the Convoy concept emulates and celebrates. Its distinctive “J-truck nose” is a Jeep brand designer and fan favorite. A new spin on a classic look, the Jeep Convoy concept is ready and equipped for duty, including long-range, off-road adventures,” said Stellantis.
